World Falun Dafa Day, 2015, was celebrated in Minnesota with an event held at the State Capitol.
Local Falun Dafa practitioners gathered in front of the Capitol building to demonstrate the practice’s five gentle qigong exercises. Volunteers had banners and informational materials on hand to help inform passersby about Falun Dafa and the brutal persecution in China that practitioners have peacefully resisted since 20 July 1999.
Minnesota proclamations and letters of support were sent from Governor Mark Dayton, City of Minneapolis Mayor Betsy Hodges, City of Rochester Mayor Ardell F. Brede, and City of Duluth Mayor Don Ness.
