May 13, 2021, was the 29th anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction and the 22nd World Falun Dafa Day. Elected officials including Minnesota senators, state representatives, and professors sent greetings to congratulate the occasion.

May this World Falun Gong Day remind us of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China and civil society’s need for truthfulness, compassion and forbearance. Bright Monday today also brings to mind that “the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.” Such are needed also amidst the pandemic.

Hello All,
I always enjoy learning and have appreciated learning about what is happening in our world, even struggles people have, though it is hard to face. What I have learned in the last year is that we each have our own pain, some more than others, but every person wants the same things out of life, including to have peace within themselves and with others, to connect with others and have meaningful relationships, and have a sense of purpose and meaning, respect and dignity, and make a difference in the world.I have a new understanding of the followers of Falun Dafa from learning about their experiences over the last few decades and am moved by their courage and compassion. I hope more people will be open to learning from others different from themselves, be open to change and growth, and will be inspired to live selflessly. My Christian faith is a large part of who I am as I strive to be the kind of person I have described above, but I believe something bigger than ourselves is not far from us, and seek truth where it can be found, as all truth is God’s truth.
I stand with you in your struggle towards living in peace.
